Kensington Venture Fund Invests in McRock Capital

The Kensington Venture Fund yesterday announced a commitment to McRock iNFund, L.P., a new venture capital fund managed by industry veterans Scott MacDonald and Whitney Rockley.

McRock Capital is the first dedicated Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) venture capital fund focused on the intersection of sensors & software and large industrial markets, including grid automation, digital oilfield, advanced manufacturing and smart city applications. McRock’s strategy is based on the view that we are living in an era of profound transformation as the digital world is helping us maximize the efficiency of our most critical field assets and physical infrastructures. McRock is based in Toronto, investing in IIoT companies across Canada and the United States.
