Kensington Capital Advisors Inc. is pleased to announce a distribution to Unitholders of Kensington Private Equity Fund of $2.25 per Unit, for a total distribution of $27 million, representing 9.0% of the Fund’s current Net Asset Value (NAV) as of July 31, 2018. The distribution was paid on August 15, 2018 to Unitholders of record on August 13, 2018.
The current distribution reflects the continuing strong performance of the Kensington Private Equity Fund with year-to-date return sitting at 15.3% as of July 31, 2018.
“We have seen strong interest from large companies in acquiring portfolio companies held in the Fund. The strategy of backing strong managers to build great businesses works well,” said Kensington Chairman Tom Kennedy. “The Fund continues to hold investments in a significant number of companies at various stages of maturity.
